About Jev AI Use Cases
Jev AI Use Cases is a directory of tasks suited to a fast, typed-decision classifier. A classifier returns a bounded answer: yes/no, a choice from a fixed list, or a score on a small scale. This can be cheaper and easier to validate than asking a chatbot to write free text.
The directory comes from the Jev Use Case Atlas. Grades reflect decision fit, repeat frequency, value, and evidence. S is the strongest fit; A is a clean, useful decision; B and C have narrower payoff; X is not a typed-decision task; ? needs more context.

Grade definitions
- Grade S
- Top tier. Meets A, and the payoff is major with high confidence.
- Grade A
- A clean typed decision (yes/no, a pick from a list, or a level on a scale) that is concrete, repeats routinely, and has meaningful value.
- Grade B
- A clean typed decision with either high volume or major value.
- Grade C
- A clean typed decision with low volume or low value, or too vague to act on.
- Grade X
- Not a typed-decision job: needs written output, plain rules or lookups would do it, or needs raw image or audio. Also marks ideas that must not be built.
- Grade ?
- Could not be graded.
